What is this product?

This Menstrual Disc is a sustainable alternative to single use tampons which plenty of girls use during menstruation. Did you know that it takes 6 months for one tampon to decompose (this timeframe doesn’t include the decomposition of the applicator and the packaging)? Also, unfortunately, most of the single use tampons are bleached with chlorine which can contaminate tampons with dioxins and cause cancer, reproductive disorders and more so let’s be mindful and invest in sustainable products which are good for our health and planet.

What is this Menstrual Disc made of?

100% medical-grade silicone. BPA and latex-free. With a special ring that makes its removal easy like Sunday morning : )

Also, this menstrual disc sits underneath your cervix which makes it suitable to use during sex and by women wearing IUDs.

What size is it?

It's a universal size, suitable for women who have given birth and for ladies with heavy periods.

How much does it absorb?

50 ml = 10 tampons.

How long can I use it for?

Up to 12 hours, afterwards you need to empty it in the toilet, rinse it and re-insert it. If your flow is heavier, you can empty it more often, of course.You can use the same disc for up to 5 years, imagine how much money you’ll save for that time and how much waste you’ll divert from landfil and all of that due to only 1 smart long-term investment : )

How do I insert my Menstrual Disc?

Before you use it for the first time, please sterilise it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, rinse it with hot water and gentle, natural soap, we recommend our Marseille soap which is rich in olive oil. Then you need to fold the disc in two.

NB! For quick and easy insertion, find a comfortable position in which you can relax your muscles. Insert the menstrual disk in your vagina while holding it firmly between the thumb and forefinger.
